Queen Brown is the executive producer and host of her very own nationally recognized talk show "What's Going On?" She is a successful business woman who managed to overcome the challenges associated with being a high school drop out and single mother.  She is a highly motivated, self-supporting, independent professional woman who loves to share her formula for successful living.  She serves as the President and Founder of Violence Intervention and Prevention Services Inc. This not-for-profit corporation has been organized to reduce violent crimes and the impact that these crimes have on survivors and their families. These efforts include coalition building, timely intervention and prevention services that are easily accessible and user sensitive. She is a member of New Birth Cathedral of Faith, under the leadership of Bishop Victor Tyrone Curry. She volunteers countless hours to improving the lives of others in her community. She serves on several boards throughout the county. She is a long standing board member of the Human Services Coalition. Inc.  

Ms. Brown was born and raised in Miami-Dade County.  She is the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Thompson. She gives credit to her parents for instilling in her values, character and a strong belief in God. She is blessed to be a part of a large family of five loving sisters and one brother.  She is the proud mother of four children and grandmother Saidah Evertina. She is proud of her family and the love and support they showed after losing her youngest child to gun violence.    

Ms. Brown enjoyed a very successful and progressive career with Miami-Dade County. And credits her work with Miami-Dade County as allowing her to identify and develop her skills as a professional administrator. She is certified as a Professional Workforce Trainer and Human Resource Administrator. She received her undergraduate degree from Barry University with a major in Social Work and a minor in Human Resource Administration. Ms. Brown hold a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Brown believes that her strong faith in God is what allowed her to overcome the most challenging experiences in her life and yet continue to succeed.  

In spite of her tragedy, Ms. Brown has continued to promote strong family values, education and financial empowerment as the keys to overcoming social ills. Through strong healthy families, we build strong healthy children and communities.  She appreciates the strong faith she developed as a child and values the Sunday school lessons that taught her to hold on to her faith in spite of challenges she will face.  Having lived her early adult years as an uneducated single mom, she understands the importance of having a good quality education.  It's through her education she began to understand the issues of poverty and deprivation and how to effectively advocate on behalf of those less fortunate than herself.  She is a strong believer in education.  She contributes many of the violent crimes as being that of economics and negative influences. However, she believes that as parents, teachers, advocates and community leaders, we can reclaim our children.  

As a motivational speaker she is known for her unique ability to captivate, stimulate and motivate audiences to take control of their lives and discover their destiny.  She shares her personal experiences along with her knowledge and education to bring a greater insight and a deeper understanding of some of the most complicated issues of today. She is highly recognized as a professional speaker, trainer and workshop facilitator. She excels at presenting some of the most talked about topics to audiences of all ages, backgrounds and professions. Her delivery is like no other. Her style is passionate, engaging, funny, personal and thought provoking. Her trainings, speeches and workshops cover topics such as violence intervention and prevention, single parenting, self empowerment, career development, effective communication, relationship building, leadership development, cultural diversity, customer service, anger management, change management, and conflict resolution.
